Marine Sales Pickwick History

Marine Sales Pickwick was founded in the mid-seventies in Counce Tennessee as Marine Sales Inc. Over the next thirty some years, Marine Sales became the most successful and oldest Cobalt® boat dealerships in the central region. High customer satisfaction ratings made this dealership the most recognized premier service and sales boat dealership at Pickwick Lake. The customer base includes all North Mississippi, North Alabama, and West Tennessee with over two thousand satisfied customers.

In 2007, after three decades, ownership changed. The new owner, Mike Tutor, is a Memphis business man who is also an avid Pickwick Lake boater and Cobalt® boat owner. In 2008, the service side of the business as well as the 7370 Hwy 57 property was purchased.

Today, Marine Sales Pickwick is located at 9470 Highway 57, Counce Tennessee across from Hampton Inn. This location houses our 42,000 sq. ft. air-controlled showroom, service department, accessories department and parts department. Traffic from Memphis and North Tennessee pass this location as they arrive at the north end of the lake.

Marine Sales Pickwick Marine Storage Facility located at 7370 Highway 57, Counce Tennessee has both air-controlled Storage facility as well as 60 gated covered storage slips and 22 fully enclosed storage slips on the property.

Marine Sales continues to be a full-service dealership servicing Volvo®, Yamaha®, MerCruiser®, and OMC. The parts department and ship store are the largest in the region stocking anything that boaters need to stay on the water and safe!
